80:80 ‘Free Address’ Bench Desking is a true system in the best sense. From a small kit of components it is possible to construct not just a bench of any required size, but a complete range of diverse workspace configurations from wave desks to 120 degree clusters. As the nature of work changes the result is that office furniture has to evolve and adapt to new and different workspaces. Safety, strength, stability and durability are paramount, 80:80 has been tested for Structural Safety BS EN 527-2:2002 and Strength and Stability BS 4875:2001. As part of the testing a 125kg weight was placed on the weakest point 10,000 times to measure the vertical fatigue and a 250kg weight was dropped from a height of 240mm 10 times to measure the impact strength 80:80 passed with flying colours.
